Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 1 June 2025  ยท  Last updated: 12 June 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Onedays Plumbing Services website or engaging our services. By using this website or requesting a quote, you agree to be bound by these terms. Onedays Plumbing Services is based at 38 12th Avenue, Florida, Ravensmead, 7504, Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa.

1. General Website Use

The information on this website is provided for general informational purposes only. Submitting a quote request does not constitute a binding contract. A contract is only formed when we have confirmed your booking in writing and you have accepted a written quote.

2. Quotes and Estimates

All quotes โ€” whether verbal, via WhatsApp, or online โ€” are estimates based on information available at the time. Final pricing is confirmed in a written quote following on-site assessment where required. No work commences until a written quote has been accepted by the client. Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is due on completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept EFT (electronic bank transfer), cash, and card payments. For larger projects, a deposit may be required as specified in your written quote. Certificates of Compliance (CoC) may be withheld until payment is received in full.

4. Workmanship Guarantee

Onedays Plumbing Services provides a 12-month workmanship guarantee on all work completed across Cape Town and the greater Western Cape. If a repair or installation fails within 12 months due to our workmanship or supplied parts, we will rectify it at no additional cost. This guarantee:

  • Applies only to workmanship and parts supplied by Onedays Plumbing Services
  • Does not cover damage caused by misuse, third-party interference, pre-existing conditions, or factors outside our control (e.g. municipal pressure surges, tree root intrusion)
  • Does not cover normal wear and tear
  • Is subject to all outstanding invoices being settled

5. Liability Limitations

Onedays Plumbing Services takes all reasonable care when working at your Cape Town property. We are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing defects, substandard materials, or pipework installed by others
  • Damage caused by factors outside our control (municipal supply issues, extreme weather, acts of God)
  • Loss of income, consequential loss, or indirect damages arising from service delays or failures
  • Hidden or concealed defects that could not reasonably be identified during a standard assessment

Our liability in any circumstance is limited to the value of the work performed under the relevant job.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a non-emergency appointment. Late cancellations (less than 4 hours' notice) or no-shows may attract a call-out fee. Emergency call-out fees are non-refundable once a plumber has been dispatched.

7. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the nature and location of the problem when requesting a quote
  • Ensure safe and reasonable access to the work area at the agreed time
  • Inform us of any known hazards on the property prior to our arrival
  • Settle invoices promptly in accordance with agreed payment terms

8. Certificates of Compliance (CoC)

Where a CoC is issued by Onedays Plumbing Services for geyser or electrical installations, it certifies that the work carried out by us complies with relevant regulations at the time of installation. It does not certify the condition of any other existing pipework, wiring, or systems on the property.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
